Youth Engagement Service

We believe that all young people have the right to an education that values their individual needs.

Youth Engagement Service is an exciting alternative educational provision and vocational training centre for disengaged young people.

We work with young people aged 13-19 who are excluded or on the verge of exclusion from education and society.

We work with young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, aim to help them achieve the greatest possible access to learning in preparation for the experiences life has to bring.

Working closely with Schools, Pupil Referral Units, Children's Services, Youth Offending Teams, Ethnic Minority and Traveller groups and other government iniatives, we are able to deliver a holistic approach to young people's education.

We place young people in real work like environments that present them with practical hands on skills.

Progression is just as important. We work closely with our young people to ensure there is a future work strategy in place for when they leave us.

Each young person is given opportunities to encourage them to develop their skills, qualities and self-esteem through an individualised approach in a consistent, caring and supportive environment.
